If you’ve already heard Mariah Carey’s holiday-anthem 44 times and you’re permanently locked into the local all-Christmas radio station, then Snowglobe is the logical next step in your seasonal journey.

Born at Exile Brewing in Des Moines, Iowa, Snowglobe has brought its over-the-top Christmas pop-up bar to Downtown Lee’s Summit restaurant Calaveras, 219 S.E. Main St. this holiday season. Reservations are now open through New Year’s Eve.

“Snowglobe is amazingly, fantastically over the top,” said owner Josh Edwards. “We cannot wait to transform Calaveras into a lot of holiday memories.”

The newest restaurant in Downtown Lee’s Summit – which just celebrated its first anniversary in late October – will remain open for lunch and dinner patrons during the time the pop-up is open.

The Snowglobe holiday drink menu will include a White Christmas Margarita, the Jack Frost, Santa’s Little Helper and Rudolph’s Rum Punch. There will even be frozen selections like Christmas in the Caribbean and a Frozen Hot Chocolate. The full Calaveras food menu, including tacos, appetizers and entrees will also be available.

“We wanted to give the feeling as if you’re eating and drinking in an actual snow globe,” said owner Lanni Edwards. “This pop-up will be like heading to the in-laws for a long Christmas dinner, except there are more drinks, it’s way more fun and no one tries to flip a table at the end of the night.”

Snowglobe opened Tuesday, Nov. 14 and is open through New Year’s Eve, with the exceptions of Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
