The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites the community to participate in a special event, ‘Walk with Jesus,’ taking place on Good Friday, March 29, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at 850 SE Church St, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063.

This self-guided walk offers an opportunity for individuals and families to reflect on the final moments of Christ’s mortal ministry and enrich their celebration of Easter. Participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in a meaningful journey, experiencing the events leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

During the walk, attendees are encouraged to bring Easter baskets for their children to collect symbols of Good Friday. These symbolic items will help children engage with the story in a tangible and memorable way, fostering a deeper understanding of the significance of Easter.

The event is open to everyone, regardless of religious affiliation, and there is no cost to attend.

Participants can drop by any time between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm to embark on their self-guided journey.
