Lee’s Summit CARES is hosting a Coffee & Conversations event focusing on a pressing issue that affects us all: human trafficking. The event will take place on Monday, Sep. 23 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Fillmore Cafe located at 700 Unity Way in Unity Village.

This free event is open to the entire community and provides a vital platform to discuss and explore effective measures to combat human trafficking in the Greater Kansas City area.

Special guest panelists will be Missouri Representatives Jeff Myers and Jon Patterson.

Both representatives have been instrumental in advancing legislation and community initiatives aimed at preventing human trafficking and supporting its victims. This is your opportunity to hear from local leaders, ask questions, and learn more about what can be done to protect our community and especially our youth.
