The Lee’s Summit Chamber’s Candidate Meet and Greet is set for 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28 at The Stanley Historic Event Space, 25 SE 3rd St. The event, open to Chamber members only, will have hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, and is a great opportunity to get to know the candidates who are up for election. Chamber members are encouraged to bring their questions and register online.

The Chamber also is hosting a Candidate Forum from 5:30-8 p.m. March 13 at The Gamber Center, 4 SE Independence Ave. This event is open to the public and gives residents the opportunity to learn more about candidates’ stances on certain issues. Take advantage of the opportunity to be a part of the discussion and make an educated vote. The forum also will be recorded and posted on the Chamber’s website and Facebook page following the event.
