Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is proud to announce the top three winners of the Lee’s Summit Rotary’s Four-Way Test Speech Contest.

Senior Michaela Loux won first place, Sophomore Bryce Ferguson won second place, and Sophomore Kennedy Cooper won third place in the speech contest, judged by members of the Lee’s Summit Rotary. Coached by SCA Speech and Debate Coach Mike Evans, the students’ speech had to address the Rotary Four-Way test in some way. The Rotary Four-Way test asks four questions: “Is it the truth?”, “Is it fair to all concerned?”, “Will it bring goodwill and better friendships?”, and “Will it be beneficial to all concerned?”

The top three finishers were awarded a cash prize, and first place finisher Michaela Loux went on to compete against the top finishers from the three public Lee’s Summit high schools at the Rotary Luncheon last week. Michaela came in second place at this competition.
