The Missouri Department of Transportation will be demolishing the east half of the Douglas Street bridge over Interstate 470 (from Colbern Road to Mulberry Street) beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 13, until 5 a.m. on Monday, July 16. All work is weather permitting.
- This demolition will CLOSE both northbound and southbound Douglas Street over I-470 from 9 p.m. on Friday, July 13, until 5 a.m. on Monday, July 16.
o No traffic will be able to cross Douglas Street over I-470 during this time.
- The demolition will also reduce the lanes at eastbound and westbound I-470 at Douglas Street.
o All I-470 traffic will be routed up to the off ramps and then re-routed back onto I-470.
