The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission will hold its monthly meeting at 8:30 on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, at the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Kansas City District Office located at 600 NE Colbern Road, in Lee’s Summit, MO.

The meeting is expected to last around two hours, and the public is invited to attend. The Northland Chamber of Commerce is expected to present as well as several MoDOT staff on topics such as finances, communications and multimodal operations.

“We are pleased to welcome the Commission back to the Kansas City region,” said District Engineer Brian Kidwell. “We are interested in sharing more about the area’s strong partnerships and its future transportation needs. We invite anyone who is interested to attend this meeting.”

The Commission holds meetings in Jefferson City for five months, while the legislature is in session; the other seven months Commission meetings are held throughout the state.
