Blue Springs at Lee’s Summit (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
Both teams enter this one off from tough losses a week ago. For the Wildcats it was an OT loss to LS North. The Tigers lost by a single TD at Staley. This is a chance for both teams to return to the victory column. Expect a close game here with a Wildcat victory in the end.
Lafayette County at Summit Christian
Lafeyette County has scored 47 points in 3 games so far this season. The SCA Eagles have scored over 47 points in two different games already this season. Expect the Eagles to enjoy this night at home under the friendly lights as they soar to another win on the year.
LS West at Columbia Rock Bridge (Pub Pick of the week)
The LS West Titans try to stay undefeated with a trip to Mid Mo to play the Bruins who are are also in the top 10 of the prep rankings this week. The Titans have already met the challenge of a tough team on the road in Ft. Osage. I see the Titans with a similar outcome in this one as they improve to 4-0.
Park Hill at LS North
The LS North Broncos have accepted many honors this week on their 3-0 start to the season. Coach of the week award went to Coach Mozee and this is Homecoming week in Bronco land. The team will have to put all of this aside to meet the challenge of the Trojans. The Broncos will walk away with another win on this Friday evening.
St. Michael at Lone Jack
St. Michael in search of their first win travels to Lone Jack on Friday in hopes of securing a victory over the Mules. Expect a close one here but in the end the same result as the Guardians will score but still end the game with a loss.
Wm. Chrisman at Raytown (Wild Card game of the week)
Raytown comes home after shutting out their rival Ray South. The Bears will bring a stiff challenge but one the Blue Jays will have an answer for on this Friday night.
Mo. Southern at N.W. Mo St. (MIAA Game of the week)
The NW Mo St Bearcats starting off a season at 2-0 is no surprise to anyone. Now the Bearcats want #3 as they host the Lions from Mo. Southern in the game of the week. Expect the Bearcats to tame the Lions in this one to improve to 3-0.
KC Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers
The KC Chiefs season opening win showcased the explosive offense they will use to score wins in 2018. Week 1 saw the Chiefs win out West, week 2 will see the Chiefs win out East as they overcome the challenge presented by the Steelers.
