On November 6, voters will cast their ballots in the General Election to elect new State Representatives and Senators. The Lee’s Summit Chamber is hosting a Candidate Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at the Missouri Innovation Campus. Doors open at 6 p.m. for an opportunity to meet the candidates, with the forum beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The forum will include several questions for the candidates regarding their position on certain issues. Residents are also encouraged to download the General Election Candidate Profiles at LSchamber.com. The event will be live streamed on the Chamber’s Facebook page for those who are unable to attend.
The candidates vying for seats are:
District 30: Jon Patterson – Republican, Ryana Parks-Shaw – Democrat and Brad Eichstadt – Libertarian
District 31: Dan Stacy – Republican and Travis Hagewood – Democrat
District 34: Rebecca Roeber – Republican and Jim Ripley – Democrat
District 35: Tom Lovell – Republican and Keri Ingle – Democrat
Senate District 8: Mike Cierpiot – Republican and Hillary Shields – Democrat
The forum is open to the public and gives residents the opportunity to learn more about the candidates who are running for office.
