Washington, DC –  Today, U.S. Representative Sam Graves, (MO-6), a sixth-generation family farmer, issued the following statement after Congress passed the 2018 Farm Bill:

“I’m thrilled that we’ve finally gotten this across the finish line,” said Graves. “Farmers in North Missouri need and deserve certainty and this bill provides that,” said Graves. “It’s important that this is a long-term bill and I look forward to the President signing it.”

The 2018 Farm Bill maintains and strengthens the farm safety net to provide certainty to producers, and brings stability back to our agricultural community, giving them what they need to continue to provide the safest and most affordable food to America and across the world.”
