KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Due to an additional water line break that occurred, the Jackson County Courthouse in downtown Kansas City, 415 E. 12th Street, will be closed for business today, February 4. Power to the building is being turned off so that County staff can assess the situation.

The community is reminded that the County’s Collection, Assessment and Recorder of Deeds departments also offer services at the Historic Truman Courthouse, 112 W. Lexington Avenue in Independence, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., exclusive of observed holidays.
