The Missouri Republican Party recently announced that it has named State Representative Jean Evans (House District 99) Executive Director of the Party. Evans will step down from her position in the Missouri House of Representatives in order to take her new position.

Rep. Evans was first elected to the House in 2016 and subsequently won reelection. Prior to her time in the House of Representatives Evans was a business consultant and financial advisor. She is the former President of the Professional Women’s Alliance for St. Louis, and has worked at Westminster Christian Academy. She has served on the Boards for USA Volleyball Gateway Region and the National Association of Women Business Owners. She received the President George W. Bush Award for Volunteerism in 2006.

“Jean Evans has been a tremendous voice for Missouri voters during her time in the House of Representatives,” said Governor Mike Parson. “Representing a key swing district in St. Louis County, Jean has proven time and again that she knows what it takes to win votes from diverse segments across our state. She’s exactly the leader our Republican Party needs today and I’m happy to welcome her as Executive Director.”

“Jean is a great campaigner and operative who knows how to win,” said MRP Chair Kay Hoflander. “She understands as I do that Missourians have entrusted Republicans with tremendous influence over the future direction of our state and country, and we’ll work closely together to win Republican victories all over the state.”

Evans replaces Ray Bozarth as Executive Director, who served at the party since 2016.
