Band, choir, and orchestra students from Raytown South High School participated in the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) State Music Contest for solos and ensembles in Columbia, Missouri.

Raytown South High School band students who earned a gold medal for their solos include Taylor Jakes, flute; CJ Stigler, clarinet; and Charles Wolfe, piano.

Raytown South High School band students who earned a silver medal for their solos include Charles Wolfe, French horn; Cecily Wells, French horn; and Lael Carr, trombone.

Raytown South High School band students Abel Monarrez, Rodrigo Torres, Cecily Wells, and Guy Price earned a bronze medal for their brass ensemble.
