Recently, Governor Parsons signed HB 677 into law. This bill modifies provisions relating to tourism infrastructure facilities.

Representative Jon Patterson stated, “I’m delighted that the governor signed House Bill 677 today. In Jefferson City we talk about wanting Missouri to be the “best in the Midwest”. I believe that by passing this legislation, we’ve shown that the General Assembly is willing to make the necessary investments to achieve that goal.”

“In Kansas City we’ve seen tremendous support for the U.S. women’s soccer team over the past few weeks. I hope that we are able to be a host site for the 2026 World Cup. I can only imagine the level of excitement that would bring to our city and our state.”
