World War II Veteran Albert Boone celebrated his 102nd birthday on July 15, 2019. Boone entered active service on November 25, 1940. He was awarded five bronze stars for serving as a surgical technician in Ardennes, Rhineland, Central Europe, Normandy and Northern France and honorably discharged January 11, 1946. Afterwards he served in the Air Force and Air Force Reserves from 1947 to 1977.
