The Missouri Department of Transportation’s pavement work along northbound MO Route 7 between Oak Haven Rd. (near Route 150 east) and Route 150 has been DELAYED until approximately Saturday, Sept. 21. The work involves a TOTAL CLOSURE of northbound MO Route 7 in the area. Southbound MO Route 7 will be open ONLY to residents  as a one way road and will be CLOSED to through traffic. A signed detour is in place. All work is weather permitting.

Detour Information:

·         Northbound traffic from Pleasant Hill motorists will have to turn left on MO Route 150 west and take Route 291 north up to U.S. Highway 50 to get to the north side of the construction MO Route 7 and would have to go back the same way.

·         Southbound traffic will have to use U.S. 50 Highway eastbound to Lone Jack and exit at MO Route 150 (S. Bynum Rd) turning right.  Travelers will be able to access MO Route 150 all the way back to MO Route 7 for residential access. However, motorists are not be able to get onto MO Route 7.

Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
