Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is pleased to announce that senior Kennedy Cooper has been awarded the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) prestigious Academic All-American Award.

There are over 500,000 student members of the NSDA, and less than 500 are named to the Academic All-American Award list. This accomplishment sets Kennedy among the top two-percent of all student members of the NSDA across the country. Kennedy also recently qualified for Nationals which puts her in the top one-percent of those same students.

Mr. Mark Harris is the SCA Director of Speech & Debate. When asked to comment on Kennedy’s accomplishment he shares, “Kennedy has demonstrated leadership through not only competition but also as the SCA NSDA Chapter President. It has been a joy having her as part of the Speech & Debate program since middle school.”
