Lorenzo Harrison Ministries is calling for a “Black Lives Matter Sunday,” to remind the nation how important the lives of African Americans are on Sunday, June 14, 2020. Although peaceful protest are happening and those who would like to participate can not this is a way that we take a pause and remember Black Lives Matter. Lorenzo Harrison is asking for the city mayors in the surrounding areas of Kansas City to create a declaration for their city for this day asking that Kansas City Metro Area Residents to wear black on the second Sunday in June to show solidarity.

In the words Bishop Charles E Blake (Presiding Bishop of the Church of God in Christ “COGIC”) back in 2014, which is still relevant in 2020 “We must find a way, through God’s help, to continue the work of emphatically telling everyone that will listen that, “Black Lives Matter!” 

A resident of Lee’s Summit, MO. In 2015, he accepted the call to Minister at the young age of 17. His  acceptance of God’s calling on his life has been very inspirational to all that he encounters. While most teenagers are focused on video games and sports, Minister Lorenzo desire to serve God’s people through ministry, lead him to be a giver in the community.  Provoking the Body of Christ to holiness, deliverance, and maturity, Minister Lorenzo’s ministry has reached various churches, schools, revivals, and conferences; crossing denominational barriers. He has reached and touched the lives of hundreds of people including youth, teenagers, young adults and adults as he fulfills the commission upon his life to “prepare God’s people…”
