At approximately 4:45pm officers were dispatched to westbound I-470 Hwy. just before the Blue Parkway exit on a reported shooting.  Witnesses stated that a pickup truck was traveling in the inside lane nearest the center median, when the driver changed lanes to the outer lane. 

It appeared that the driver of the truck did not see a white sedan approaching in that lane.  The driver of the white sedan drove onto the shoulder of the road and sped around the truck.  The driver of the white sedan then slowed down and shot approximately 10 to 15 rounds into the passenger side of the pickup truck, striking the driver at least one time. 

The sedan then fled the scene.  The driver of the pickup truck was taken to an area hospital and his condition is unknown. 

The suspect vehicle is described as a white four door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala or similar style vehicle, witnesses believed that the vehicle had Missouri license plates.  The vehicle had dark blacked out windows.
