The University of Central Missouri’s monthly Professional Training and Education Open House helps you find the career training you need to be successful. The next free virtual event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 29 and will include information about training for a new job as well as career advancement.

Offered the last Tuesday of each month, the open houses provide timely information about training and scholarship opportunities via a one-on-one session with a UCM representative. Thanks to a partnership with the Full Employment Council, qualifying individuals are able to receive debt-free tuition assistance.

Certificate programs are available in high-demand areas such as healthcare, information technology, business and logistics/warehouse. Some training programs can be completed in as little as six weeks.
