Ray-Pec at Lee’s Summit West (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
A definite game of the week status here as the Titans return home after falling from the ranks of the unbeaten last week. LS West at 3-1 host the 4-0 Ray Pec Panthers who come to town ranked #1 in Class 6. The Titans will use home field to knock Ray-Pec from the ranks of the unbeaten this week.
Lawrence Free State at Lee’s Summit North
The Free State Firebirds at 0-3 fill in on this Friday night for Blue Valley to face the Broncos. LS North returns home after a disappointing road loss last week at Ray-Pec. Expect the Broncos to cure their bad feelings with a big win over Lawrence Free State this week.
Lee’s Summit at Park Hill (Jake’s Take)
Park Hill vs Lee’s Summit features two teams that look evenly matched. The Tigers come in at 2-2, while Park Hill is 1-3. The Trojans have been plagued by close losses losing to both LS West and Blue Springs by a combined 9 points. I look for Park Hill to build on the emotions of their homecoming by coming out on top in this contest. Final score, Park Hill – 24, Lee’s Summit – 20.
El Dorado Springs at Summit Christian
Everyone knows the SCA Eagles don’t lose very often and they did that last week in a tough one to Lafayette County. Eagles show no mercy on this night at home and return to the win column for a 3-2 mark when this one is done.
Kansas City Central at St. Michael (Game played Saturday at 1p)
A hard one to figure, as Central comes to town at 1-3 and the Guardians return to the field after taking last week off. St. Michael’s enters at 0-3 but thanks to some rest and being at home they pick up win #1 in this one.
Raytown South at Grandview
Two teams needing some good news meet in this one as the Cardinals search for their first victory. The Bulldogs will prove to have a bigger bite on this night to earn a second win on the season.
St. Thomas Aquinas at Raytown
A week after an impressive win over Fort Osage in the cable game of the week the Blue Jays face an impressive team from Kansas. Aquinas comes to Chittwood stadium at 2-0 and when it’s over they will be 3-0 thanks to a hard earned victory.
Liberty at Blue Springs South
The Jaguars are the best 0-4 team in the state of Missouri according to many followers and media types. However the Jags host undefeated Liberty this week and will fall to 0-5 when it’s through.
Blue Springs at Liberty North
A pair of 2-2 teams meet up in a good one under the Friday night lights. Both teams should have better marks and it’s the Eagles who will enjoy a better record when this one is over with a win.
