Missouri Central Credit Union in Lee’s Summit is happy to announce the appointment of Josh Wooley as upcoming President and Chief Executive Officer. He will join the MCCU team on Monday, Oct. 11.

Wooley is stepping into his new role as successor to Glenna Jarvis, who retired earlier this year with 33 years of service at MCCU, 18 as President. Passing the torch to a skilled professional with a member service mindset and credit union spirit, the MCCU Board of Directors is confident in the energy and vision Josh embraces.

Sam Voyles, Chairperson of the Board said, “We are very excited to bring Josh on as our new CEO. He has great experience and will be a great asset to the credit union. We are sad that Glenna is gone, but we believe that the credit union will continue to grow under Josh’s leadership. We wish Glenna a happy and healthy retirement, and she will be dearly missed by all of us on the Board and within the credit union.”

Wooley brings with him first-hand knowledge of credit unions, having started his credit union journey in 2009 after six years of experience in the banking and finance industry. He will be joining MCCU after leading the Retail Delivery teams at Mazuma Credit Union, including their 11 branch locations for nine years.

Committed to long-term learning, Josh is enrolled in CUNA Management School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Bethel University and a master’s degree in Theological Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

When asked about his new position, Josh offered this comment, “I am humbled and thrilled to have been offered the position of CEO at Missouri Central. Glenna has done an amazing job over her tenured career at the credit union, and I am excited to follow in her footsteps.”

In his free time, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, being involved in his local community, reading, close friends, and playing competitive board games. You can catch him strumming the guitar and performing around the KC metro, singing rock music with his band Altered Ego KC.
