Jackson County Park Rangers gathered last week to celebrate the holidays and recognize a few of their own.
Congratulations went out to Captain Mark Houston, retiring after 33 years of service; Major Larry Niederschulte, who was recognized for 35 years of service; and Chief Joseph Piccinnini, who retired last month.
Awards were presented by Parks + Rec Director and Deputy Director Brian Nowotny. Honors were also extended to Rangers Julian Grigsby and Phillip Barragan for 10 years of service.
