More than 30 students from Lee’s Summit R-7 School District are performing at the state level this week during the Missouri Music Educators Association (MMEA) State Conference.

Thousands of students from across the state audition for the All-State Band, Choir, Jazz Band and Collective and only a select few are chosen to work with world-renowned clinicians and perform in concert.

The following students were chosen for that opportunity:

All-State Band: Klair Eggers (LSW), Allison Findlay (LSHS), Ethan Godfrey (LSN), Ainsley Hildreth (LSW), Camille Pross (LSW), Cam Risner (LSN), Owen Snead (LSN), Sydney Sterns (LSN) and Hailey Wray (LSN)

All-State Orchestra: Hannah Borgstadt (LSW), Duy Nguyen (LSN), Cash Qualls (LSN), Cameron Taylor (LSW) and Hailey Wray (LSN)

All-State Choir: Mara Bannister (LSHS), Keaton Bradford (LSW), Ella Breshears (LSW), Ben Bruner (LSW), Avery Cambron (LSHS), Grace Doyle (LSHS), Nathan Fredlund (LSW), Ethan Godfrey (LSN), Allyssa Hamilton (LSHS), Matthew Hilger (LSW), Paisley King (LSW), Sydney Laird (LSW), Devan Mathis (LSN), Miles Parker (LSHS), Elizabeth Ravasini (LSN), Eric Schmidt (LSW), Gunnar Stanford (LSN), Noah Symes (LSW), Peri Thompson (LSW) and Hailey Wray (LSN)

Lee’s Summit West Treble Choir

Two Lee’s Summit West ensembles were also separately selected to perform at the MMEA State Conference through a competitive audition process. LSW’s Combined Treble Choir was selected as one of two Treble Choirs to perform Thursday, January 25th for members of MMEA.
