Jackson County Board of Election Commissioners voted to add an additional absentee voting location for voters in Eastern Jackson County for this Presidential Election only.

The Independence location at 110 N. Liberty St. will be open beginning September 24, 2024, until November 4, 2024. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. October 19th, October 26th, and November 2nd.

The second absentee voting location will be located at Fleming Meeting Hall, 21906 SW Woods Chapel Road, Blue Springs, MO. Hours of operation beginning Tuesday, October 22nd – Thursday, October 24th, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and October 28th – November 4th, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Friday, October 25th, Saturday, October 26th and Saturday, November 2nd will be held at 3310 Rennau Drive, Lee’s Summit, MO from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The absentee voting period for each election is six weeks. The first four weeks require the voter to select an excuse, the final two weeks require no excuse.

When voting at one of our absentee locations, please bring the required photo ID. Jackson County Election Board voters may view their individual ballot on our website at https://jcebmo.org, go to voter look-up and enter their first name, last name, and date of birth. JCEB suggests voters print their ballot and be prepared when voting. The ballot is 8 ½” x 17” front and back.
