The VFW Post 5789 conducted their annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery, Monday, May 30.

Public attendees were greeted by the Avenue of Flags display around the cemetery, honored those who fought for our country through words, memories, and the 21 Gun Salute.

Donations to support the annual display (repairs and replacement of damaged flags and poles) can be sent to VFW Post 5789, 329 SE Douglas St, Lee’s Summit, MO.
