Lee’s Summit West High School had a college signing ceremony on Wednesday, Apr. 11, 2018.

Caitlin Buchholz recently signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Graceland University where she plans to major in biology/pre-med. In addition to playing club and school volleyball, Buchholz is involved in NHS, NFHS, A+ Program and debate.

Sanatana Lewis signed a letter of intent with Tuskegee University to play volleyball. She will be working toward a major in elementary education. Lettering in varsity for three years, Lewis began playing volleyball in fourth grade.

Gillian Evans has signed a letter of intent with William Jewell College to play tennis where she will be studying nursing. Evans has three varsity letters, honorable mention all-conference doubles in 2016 and 2017, honorable mention all-conference singles in 2017.

Corey Timberlake signed a letter of intent to be on the track team at the University of Central Missouri where he plans to study computer science and cyber security. His events include 400M, 4x400M, 800M and 4x800M. The latter of which he earned a medal at state competition.
