Each year, Walmart gives back to programs that benefit education and the community. Parents as Teachers parent educators Dora Cruz and Tisha Hensel were also on-hand for the presentation.

Parents as Teachers is a free and voluntary early-learning program for all parents with children birth to age 5 (pre-kindergarten). Services include personal visits for families with children prenatal to kindergarten age and developmental screening for children four months to kindergarten age.
