Mr. and Mrs. James Necessary of Rogers, AR celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary at a local restaurant with Msgr. David Le Sieur.

James Necessary and Marilyn Downing were married August 24, 1955 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lee’s Summit by Rev. Hartigan.

They have six children: Michael Necessary of Rogers, AR; Pat Jones and husband Mark of Crowley, LA; Jeff Necessary and wife Jennifer of Bentonville, AR; Cindy Mycka and husband Rich of Fayetteville, AR; Kevin Necessary and wife Denise of Rogers, AR; and Brian Necessary and wife Vickki of Fayetteville, AR.

They also have 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
