The annual Raytown holiday tree lighting ceremony will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7 at the UMB Bank located at 63rd Street and Raytown Road in Raytown.

Santa will light the tree with holiday music by the Raytown South High School Cardinal Chorale, the Raytown High School Camerata and St. Regis Academy students.

Be sure to stop by the Winter Wonderland at Raytown Water Company located at 10017 E. 63rd Street. Visit with Santa, enjoy cookies and cider, hay rides and music by the Raytown Community Band. The first 150 children accompanied by a parent will receive a gift from Santa.

All attendees are encouraged to bring a canned or boxed food item to help the REAP food pantry.
