The Jacomo Chorale will present a concert of traditional and non-traditional Christmas music on December 14th at 7 p.m. at Mission Woods Community of Christ, 2800 NW Duncan Road, Blue Springs. The concert will be repeated at 4 p.m. on December 15th at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church, 10017 E. 36th Terrace, Independence. Selections include pieces by local composers Nathan Smith and Dana Mengel. Directed by Dr. Helena Vasconcellos and accompanied by Michelle Proen, the Jacomo Chorale is a community chorale with members from Blue Springs, Lee’s Summit, Raytown, Independence, Grain Valley, Oak Grove, Buckner and Overland Park.
