The time has finally arrived that will see teams take the field and fans fill the stands as it’s game day at the 2018 Auto Zone Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee. Before kickoff there are several options for fans to enjoy the city and soak up the bowl atmosphere around the stadium.
A pre-game buffet open to anyone will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. adjacent to the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. The game kicks off at 2:45 p.m. and finally the post-game celebrations to follow on the famed Beale Street in Memphis.
The #24 ranked Missouri Tigers are favored to win the game over unranked Oklahoma State. Both teams feature explosive offenses with the Tigers led by QB Drew Lock and the Cowboys by QB Tatum Cornelius. The Tigers enter the game on a winning streak and stand at 8-4. Meanwhile the Cowboys lost at the end of the season to a pair of unranked teams and enter at 6-6.
Much has been talked about this match up from the coaches, to the players and finally the history of the two programs share in the Big 8 and Big 12 Conferences. This will be the 60th Liberty Bowl game played and the history of the event is about to be written. Coverage of the game will begin on ESPN at 2:00 p.m. with the nationally televised game to kick off at 2:45 p.m.
