The City of Lee’s Summit recognized Dylan Eppert as the City’s 2018 Employee of the Year during an annual employee meeting Dec. 20. Eppert is a neighborhood services officer for Development Services.

As a neighborhood services officer, Eppert is responsible for enforcing the City’s codes. His job involves frequent resident interaction and his dedication to ensuring each of these interactions is courteous and professional is what sets him apart. He strives to make every resident feel important and greets them all with a smile and an unmatched positive attitude, no matter the circumstance. His compassion, understanding and respect for residents make him the ideal representative for the City.

Eppert is described by his co-workers as an employee who is dedicated to upholding the City’s core values. Whether it’s enforcing City ordinances or testing new software, Eppert’s goal is to always do what’s best for the City of Lee’s Summit.
