BGoodVets, a Chicago-based animal hospital operator, has announced plans to open a new 5,300-square foot animal hospital and boarding/grooming facility in the New Longview Commercial District. Construction began on GoodVetsLee’s Summit in December 2018, with a grand opening expected in the spring of 2019.

Led by accomplished local veterinarian Dr. Antonio DeMarco, GoodVets Lee’s Summit will offer a full suite of veterinary care, including preventative wellness, dentistry, advanced diagnostics, radiography, nutrition counseling, internal medicine, and both basic and advanced surgeries.

“GoodVets Lee’s Summit will set the new standard for animal care in greater Kansas City,” said GoodVets Founder and CEO Dr. Sabrina Kuo. “We are thrilled to be joining the community and excited to provide unparalleled care for every pet in Lee’s Summit in a premier, state-of-the-art medical facility.”

GoodVets Lee’s Summit will be the first animal hospital to serve residents in the rapidly growing New Longview Commercial District and surrounding residential area. In addition to medical care, GoodVets Lee’s Summit will offer safe, clean and stress-free boarding services for dogs and cats, featuring an indoor doggy playroom, as well as on-site grooming.

“Box Real Estate Development (BoxDevCo) is honored to be working with GoodVets on its first location outside of Chicago,” said Russell Pearson, BoxDevCo founding principal. “GoodVets chose New Longview due to Lee’s Summit’s rapid population growth, as well as the development’s ‘walkability’ factor and quality of nearby development activity.”
