The late Phyllis Hamilton, who co-founded the Lee’s Summit Symphony with Russ E Berlin, collected special bird houses and enjoyed watching birds and butterflies from her porch.

Thanks to the generosity of her family, four Hamilton birdhouses and one butterfly house will be on display at the Garden Gathering brunch at The Stanley this Saturday, at 10:00 a.m., located at 308 SE Douglas, downtown Lee’s Summit.

Other birdhouses will be available to purchase during the silent auction.

There are a limited number of tickets available for the event, which will include brunch, a fashion show, art and birdhouses. Even though snow may be on the ground, the Garden Gathering will focus on the Spring that will soon come.

A benefit for the Lee’s Summit Symphony, $45 tickets may be purchased online at lssymphony.org.
