Dear Senator Blunt,

I am extremely disappointed in you relative to your vote against the president’s southern border emergency declaration.

The citizens of the State of Missouri elected Donald Trump to fulfill the campaign promises that he made and these same citizens elected you to support the president in his fulfillment of those campaign promises as long as they are constitutional.

If you could not vote for the declaration for the reasons you set out, then the alternative is to change the law not concern yourself with setting a precedent that the Democrats will follow. You live in a dream world if you think that the Democrats will honor any precedent set by the Republicans.

I hope that the actions of the Christian County Republican Central Committee is a wake-up call to you that we, the Republicans of the State of Missouri will hold you accountable.
