July 19, 2019

On July 19, 2019 at approximately 0200 hours, Greenwood Police Officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Main St. for a possible shooting. Upon arrival officers located one male party, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators are questioning a female party in regard to the incident.

At this point it is unclear what led to the deadly shooting, as the investigation is still ongoing. There is no further information available at this time.
