Officers responded to the Walgreens store located at 1801 E. Langsford Road at 8:10 p.m. on 9/12/2019 on the report of an armed robbery.

When officers arrived on scene the witnesses stated that a male suspect had entered the store and approached the register.

The male suspect then told the clerk to open the register and indicated the threat of a weapon. The suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were no injuries reported and Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the LSPD Tips Hotline at 816-969-1752.
