Lee’s Summit at Park Hill South
Both teams know what it’s like to lose to Staley, the Tigers fell by 24, South lost last week by 16. Expect a close game here between two teams in need of a victory. The Panthers are at home and will give their crowd a win.
Lee’s Summit West at Staley (Pub Pick of the Week)
Staley has proven to have a tough defense, LS West has a proven big play offense. A game of the week excitement is in store for this one. In the end the Titans offense will prove more powerful than Staley’s home field advantage. Titans take this one.
Liberty at Lee’s Summit North (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
Liberty enjoyed their first visit to the city of Lee’s Summit taking a season opening win vs Lee’s Summit. Now the Blue Jays return to Lee’s Summit after losing to their rival Liberty North last week. The Broncos return home after a disappointing loss by a touchdown to Park Hill. In the end the Broncos will be the team that gets back to the victory column.
Summit Christian at Skyline
Summit Christian stays on the road for another week taking on the challenge of Skyline. SCA just gave up their first points of the season in a 28-7 win last week. Skyline piled up 42 points in a road win at Archie. Expect the SCA Eagles to give up more points this week but still manage to earn a victory.
Park Hill at Ray-Pec
Two very good 3-1 teams get together in this one where Ray-Pec loves to find the end zone and Park Hill enjoys keeping teams from entering the End zone. The Panthers are at home but the Trojans limited LS West to six points, LS North to just three. Defense and the Trojans will win this one.
Ruskin at Raytown
The Blue Jays are riding high these days coming off wins over their rival Raytown South and last week’s shutout at William Chrisman. Ruskin or anyone may not want to get in the way of the High flying Jays offense captained by Joe Campbell. Blue Jays take this one easily.
Platte County at Raytown South
The Cardinals at 1-3 return home to tangle with the visiting Pirates. Only loss this season for them has been to Park Hill South which means Platte County has been playing well so far in 2019 and will win again on this night to improve to 4-1.
KC Southeast at St. Michael (Homecoming Game)
St. Michael scored 55 points in picking up their first win last week. Combine that momentum with a homecoming game and the Guardians will seal the deal in this one early giving the team two wins in a row.
Blue Springs at Blue Springs South
After two weeks in a row dealing with teams from Lee’s Summit the Wildcats stay close to home to face their rival BS South Jaguars. The Wildcats with just one loss so far this season will stay in the victory column with a win here.
Kansas City Chiefs at Detroit Lions (Celebrity Forecaster, KC Mavericks – Bob Rennison)
The Chiefs have won on the east coast and west coast so far this season. Now the Chiefs will play a game indoors against the undefeated Lions. No matter the Chiefs offense has too much firepower for the host Lions as they improve to 4-0 on the season.
