The Kansas City Chiefs have announced their Coach of the Week honors for this week and the award was given to Head Football Coach of the Summit Christian Academy (SCA) Eagles, Coach Todd Berck.
“When I found out about this honor, I was shocked,” shared SCA Varsity Football Coach Todd Berck. “There are a lot of great coaches out there in the KC area. It is humbling to be chosen, and it is a reflection of all the hard work our kids and coaching staff has put into this program. We strive for excellence here so we can give all the Glory to God and be a witness for what He has done for us. We are thankful for the recognition.”
The SCA Football program will receive a $500 player health and safety grant from the Hunt Family Foundation and a Gatorade Sideline Kit, including coolers and Gatorade products.
Coach Berck was presented a congratulatory football autographed by Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid and a certificate recognizing his selection.
Coach Berck was presented the award before practice Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 from Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Fame linebacker and current Director of Special Events Gary Spani who visited with the team and coaches.
