Lake Lotawana Optimist Club along with the Lake Lotawana Police Department cordially invited the public to attend a bicycle safety round up to encourage Respect for the Law at 12 o’clock noon on Saturday, October 26th at the Lake Lotawana Police Station parking lot. (South through Gate 2 on Lake Lotawana Road)

Participants brought their bikes to be inspected and talk with the officers about bicycle safety and respect for our dedicated officers and the outstanding service they provide for our community.

“It was a FUN event for all ages, serving hot dogs and gift giveaways as well as a obstacle course to maneuver,” Sergeant Brett Thompson.

It was a community time to honor our law enforcement officers and learn about bike riding safety!
