Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Greenwood, Missouri at 6:00 p.m. on December 9, 2019 at City Hall, 709 West Main Street, Greenwood, Missouri regarding an application for rezoning to M-2 and for a Special Use Permit for rock and gravel quarry (mining operation) pertaining to the following property.

Ownership – Martin Marietta Materials, Inc.

The East Half of the Northwest Quarter, except that part lying  North and East of the right-of-way of Missouri  Pacific Railroad,  and except  the right-of-way of said railroad, and the West Half of the Southwest Quarter, except the South 10 acres thereof, and the West Half of the Northeast  Quarter  of the Southwest  Quarter of  Section  2, and  the East Half of the Southeast  Quarter, except  the South  10 acres thereof, of Section 3, Township  46N, Range

31W, Cass County, Missouri, subject to that part thereof in road.

The South 91.76 acres of Lots I and 2 of the Northwest Quarter, and that part of the West Half of Lot 1 of the Northeast  Quarter, Lying South and West of the public road as the same is now located, and that part of the South Half of the West Half of Lot 2 of the Northeast Quarter, lying South and West of said public  road, all in Section 3, Township 46N, Range 31W, Cass County, Missouri, subject to that part thereof in road.
