On Thursday, 1/23/2020 at approximately 3:00 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Bank of the West located in the 700 block of NE Chipman Road on the report of a robbery.

Officers arriving on scene were able to determine that a single suspect had entered the bank and provided a note demanding money.

The suspect, a white female fled the bank to a vehicle and was spotted by officers as she left the area. Officers stopped the vehicle and took the female suspect into custody without incident.

There were no injuries reported and the suspect remains in custody pending the filing of formal charges.
