The Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference will undergo a realignment for the 2020-21 school year. All three Lee’s Summit High Schools were impacted by the changes.

The Suburban Gold Division will feature eight teams next season. Both Lee’s Summit North and Lee’s Summit West will be in the Gold Division along with nearby teams in Blue Springs and Blue Springs South.

The Suburban Red Conference will have just six teams next year with the Lee’s Summit Tigers being one of them. Four of the conference opponents for the Tigers are located in North Kansas City with another one in St. Joseph, Mo. All changes will become effective with the start of the 2020-21 school year in August.
