Raytown, MO– At about 4:28 p.m., today (April 30, 2020,) Raytown Police responded to a residence in the 7900 block of Evanston in response to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, it was reported that an adult female had been shot by an adult male, who was known to her. The male had already left the area. The female was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Her condition is unknown. There were no other injuries reported and nobody was in custody.

Police remain at the scene and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the TIPS Hotline, 816-474-TIPS (8477.)
