Joseph Reese of Lee’s Summit passed away May 5, 2020. Joseph was born December 4, 1990 in Columbia, MO.

He was the son of Barton Reese and Teresa Lewis Reese.

He lived in Cedar Falls, IA, Independence, MO, Greenwood, MO, Lee’s Summit, MO, Des Moines, IA and Kansas City, MO.

He graduated from Lee’s Summit West High School in 2009. He was in Theater and Concert Chorale in High School and played Soccer and was a Vaulter on the Track & Field team.

Joseph is survived by his parents; grandparents Marilyn Reese of Des Moines and Jim and Kim Lewis of Moberly, MO; Aunts and Uncles Kern (Gail) Reese of Des Moines; Renae (David Blatt) Reese of Hartford, CT; Robin Reese of Des Moines; Jason Reese of Des Moines; Joann Lewis of Columbia; Janet (Bryan McGovern) Lewis McGovern of Canton, GA; and Marsha (Robert Shuler) Lewis Shuler of Moberly.

He is also survived by ten cousins. He was preceded in death by his Aunt Sarah Reese of Des Moines, Uncle Jon Reese of Des Moines, and Grandfather Guy Reese of Des Moines.

Joseph had an incredible smile that could brighten anyone’s days even in the saddest times. He was a true joy to this earth.
