Lee’s Summit Parks and Rec opened the playgrounds, splashpads and restrooms on Wednesday, July 1.

In accordance with the County Health Department’s Recovery Plan Phase 2.5 please remember that masks must be worn at all times in public when you cannot ensure you will be able to maintain a 6-foot distance from others. This does include parks and park facilities. You do not need to wear a mask while using the splashpads but a mask is expected if you are not participating. Please be responsible and help the parks department keep the playgrounds and splashpads open.

In addition, renovations are complete at Summit Park and Howard Park which means you can now use the new playgrounds at those locations and the latest splashpad at Howard Park.
