Lee’s Summit West at Lee’s Summit (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
The Titans are 2-0, The Tigers are looking to return to the win column after a tough loss at LS North last week. Both of the Titans wins have been very close including an OT win in week one. Expect another close one in this new entry into a fun rivalry that ends with a Titans win.
LS North at Liberty (Jake’s Take)
A great match up with 2 undefeated teams that I feel are evenly matched. I’m giving the edge to the home team. Taking Liberty in a back and forth game 28-25.
Hogan Prep at Summit Christian
SCA returns home to play in front of their fans and by the end of the evening will return to the victory column. The Eagles, now 1-1, home opener will give the team and its fans a feeling a new winning streak is now underway.
Park Hill at Blue Springs South
Blue Springs South spent their first two Fridays of the 2020 season visiting Lee’s Summit and ended up 0-2. Park Hill is also 0-2 as they visit the city of Blue Springs the next two weeks. Both of South losses was by 7 points or less. This week they get their coveted first win at the expense of the Trojans.
Ray-Pec at Liberty North
Ray Pec has stormed out to a 2-0 mark this season and that includes beating Rockhurst on their home field. The Panthers have been impressive so far in 2020 while Liberty North has only played once and lost to rival Liberty. Expect the Panthers to impressively pick up another road win in this one.
Raytown at William Chrisman
Bears and the Blue Jays should be a good one. Raytown enters on a positive note having beat their city rival Raytown South last week. The Blue Jays will enjoy this road trip as they beat the Bears for win #2 on the season.
Raytown South at Winnetonka
The Cardinals had a rough night last Thursday playing up at Staley HS and losing to rival Raytown. Visiting the 2-0 Griffons isn’t making things easier for the Cards as host Winnetonka takes this one.
St. Michael at St. Mary’s Colgan (Game played in Pittsburg, KS)
St. Michael has a true road game this week after playing a pair of home games out in Cass County to start the season. Originally the Guardians were headed to Pembroke Hill but a late change was made and now a longer road trip to Southeast Kansas is on tap. It’s Homecoming for St. Mary’s who will enjoy a Win on this night.
Staley at Blue Springs
Always tough to beat a Staley team but Blue Springs at home is always tough to beat too. This one will be a hard hitting one as the Wildcats want to avoid an 0-3 start to the season. When it’s over Staley will claim victory much to the dismay of the home team fans.
