That’s right everyone, they’re back!

With COVID ongoing last year, the Lee’s Summit Fire Department was presented with great challenges in their fundraising efforts to support Lee’s Summit Social Services to help those in our community who simply need a hand up. But this year your off-duty Lee’s Summit Professional Firefighters will be in full-operational mode and the boot block takes place over three full days, December 16 through 18 at one location at the intersection of 3rd and Douglas Streets in the heart of beautiful, downtown Lee’s Summit. They will be out from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day and, if you’re lucky, you may get to see Santa Claus helping out as well.

In 2019 the community set a new record by raising $31,000. Along with collecting coins and cash donations there will be a QR code to scan to make digital donations.
