The Downtown Days Festival is coming up soon – June 7-9, 2024.

Downtown Days is expected to draw crowds of approximately 100,000 people to downtown, which is an excellent opportunity to showcase downtown and it’s amazing businesses. However street closures and limited storefront access can create challenges for businesses.

Be advised of the following street closure information:

TUESDAY, June 4: SW Main Street from Second to Fourth Streets will close at 5 pm. Carnival rides will begin moving into the street at 5 pm. Third Street will remain open for east and westbound traffic until Wednesday at 5 pm. Customers and staff are encouraged to park in the City Hall parking garage located at Second and Green, and in the public parking lot on SW Market.
The public parking lot at 212 SE Douglas near HADC will also close at 5 p.m. for Verizon to set up a portable cell tower.

WEDNESDAY, June 5: Third Street from Jefferson Street to the train tracks, and Market Street from Bridge Space to The Exit Room will close at 5 pm.

THURSDAY, JUNE 6: All other streets (between SW Main and Green Street, and Second to Fourth Streets) will close at 10 am. Plan for deliveries to be completed before 10 a.m. Thursday, June 6, as access will be limited during the festival. Green Street will remain open to north and southbound traffic.

MONDAY, JUNE 10: All streets will reopen by 8 am on Monday, June 10.

The festival hours are: Friday, Jun. 7 from 12 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, Jun. 8 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, Jun. 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
